Before you start
- A cookie choice applies to the browser where it is saved. It is different from an account alert preference.
Step-by-step instructions
- Open Cookie Policy & settings from the footer.
- Read the current optional-analytics state and the essential-cookie explanation.
- Choose Refuse optional analytics or Allow optional analytics and wait for the saved confirmation.
- If your browser sends Do Not Track (DNT) or Global Privacy Control (GPC), optional analytics remain off even if you previously allowed them.
- To withdraw later, return to the same settings and refuse optional analytics.
- Review saved items before clearing browser storage, since guest-only saves can be removed by that action.
Workspace links may ask you to sign in. Access depends on your role, plan and the records shared with you.
Essential and optional uses
Optional analytics are off by default and are not permitted merely by creating an account or continuing to browse. Refusing them does not prevent ordinary searching, contacting an advertiser or required security/transaction records.
The preference can be remembered for up to 180 days in that browser. Clearing it returns optional analytics to the default off state. Other services opened from a link have their own storage and settings.
Troubleshooting
- Allow is unavailable
- Check whether a browser privacy signal is active. The interface respects that signal instead of asking you to override it to use the service.
